Hello! My name is Haley but they call me “Ms. Crabtree” and I
am a teacher teaching 5th grade Language Arts (Reading & Writing) in the great state of Texas.

This blog will be all about the good and the bad
and the ugly that I experience as a teacher!
And even if the circumstances turn out
more bad than good, my entries will always end on a “glad” note, finding
the positive in each situation I face.
Ephesians 4:29 tells us, as followers of
Christ to, “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only
such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give
grace to those who hear.”
Because of the above verse, I will strive
to reflect God’s grace in the situations I come across and I hope and
pray that I also receive grace, especially in my beginning years of teaching
when the questions will be abundant and the mistakes will be plentiful!
I hope you enjoy reading my blog, and
maybe you’ll even get a laugh or two (or twenty) from reading stories
flooded by the influence of some pretty awesome 10 and 11 year olds.
